MCCA Awards
Missouri Cheerleading Coaches Association realizes that cheerleaders and cheerleading programs are more than just cheering and competing. . Many of our member's teams promote community awareness and provide positive leadership. MCCA recognizes these endeavors annually with two awards, the Community Service Award and the Sportsmanship Award. In addition, MCCa knows that cheer programs with such community awareness are not created in a vacuum. The dedication of team coaches and the support of administrators are necessary. Therefore, MCCA also presents annually service awards to member coaches and honors one adminstrator each year, for their support to a specific cheer program.

For a team to be considered for the Sportsmanship Award, they must be nominated by a MCCA member other than the team's coach. Please follow this link to access the nomination form.

MCCA knows that an outstanding school program is the result of a dedicated coach. In addition such programs exist because of the outstanding support of an administrator. A MCCA member may nominate his/her Superintendant, Principal, or Athletic Director for the Administrator of the Year Award. To obtain nomination information, follow this link
